If the ball is close to the green but in the taller rough you can use a pitching wedge to lift the ball out and onto the green. Once the ball is on the green, use your putter to carefully hit the ball into the hole. There are many different golf courses.

There are two main types of golf courses including public and private courses. Public courses are available for public use while private clubs are designed for members of the club only. The cost to play golf can vary greatly. The price per round of 18 holes may be under twenty dollars at a public course or may be more than a hundred dollars at a private club.
